Zygos Maritime Services provides thermographic inspection using infrared cameras to measure the amount of thermal radiation emitted by objects, which is converted to temperature. Thermal imaging is a non-destructive method of preventive maintenance and may have following applications:
- Electrical Switchboards and related equipment (electrical connections failures, earth faults, phase imbalance etc.)
- Electrical Motors condition (motor winding overheating, bearings damages, comparison of same motors operation)
- Mechanical equipment (bearings damages, shafts misalignments/bents shafts, insufficient lubrication causing frictional heat, contactless tank level measurement etc).
- Insulation Materials Check
- Flanges/Pipes/Heat Exchangers check for leakages
